Canadian Reformed Organs

J.S. Bach:

"To have good knowledge of playing and conducting, to understand how to treat an organ well and to take proper care of it, are qualities inevitably required of a good organist."

Canadian Reformed Church Maranatha - Surrey
Casavant/Haddon/Hodgson - 1912/1961

Brief History

The organ is a combination of the 1912 Casavant organ, purchased from the Central Presbyterian Church at Vancouver, and the 1961-1967 organ built by Mr. Stanley Haddon for the Canadian Reformed Church of New Westminster. The tonal alterations, rebuilding, and installation were done by the organ builder Kenneth A. Hodgson of White Rock, British Columbia. (Source: http://www.maranatha-canrc.org)
